The location was great. Only a few minutes walking to the closest metro station and the capitol building. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff in the reception was extremely helpful and friendly. They really did everything to make our stay a good one.

The staff is excellent, location is beautiful. Very close to everything. Breakfast is very good. Robes in the closet. Surrounded by beautiful, historic apartments. So easy to walk everywhere!
Negatives:
The toilet in our room was leaking water from the valve onto the floor. This created a fairly big puddle that we had to lay towels on. We did report it but they weren't able to fix it during our stay. I'm sure it was a very busy weekend for the staff.

I liked the lobby and access to staff and coffee bar at all hours. The location is close to Capitol Hill and some restaurants.
Negatives:
My room was a disability access room in the corner, the door was kept sticking, there was a mysterious red stain on the carpet near the bed (didn't seem like it was even attempted to be cleaned), the iron leaked everywhere and I couldn't iron my business clothes. I wish there had been a convenience store or pharmacy closer to pick up a few items.

The hotel is comfortable, just the right size to suit me, excellent staff. For what I was doing in DC it was the perfect location, I used the Metro all week and the nearest stop was just a block away.
