The night security guard let us in and guided us in the right direction to checking in, we got in at 10:30 pm. So the hotel is very secured and safe. Once on the 2nd floor we were able to check in right away. I didn't catch her name but the night clerk was very sweet. We received a 2 queen bed room, versus the king bed I requested but honestly it wasn't a big deal to me since the room was very spacious. Rooms were clean and well stocked. You can hear the metro but very minimal, it never once bother us. The gym was excellent and the pool is very nice to have after the hot days of sight seeing. Just keep in mind the pool is only 3 feet deep so it's more of a sitting pool. The bar was a nice thing to have as well and we absolutely loved our bartender. Metro is just steps away from the hotel, easy access to getting to downtown DC. It was also very nice having many restaurants at walking distance, we happened to go to St. Anselm that was a few blocks from the hotel and it was delicious. It was a great and pleasant stay for us and we will definitely choose this hotel on our next stay.
Negatives:
The air conditioning unit was a tad bit loud but it wasn't unbearable. Hotel doors were a little bit heavy when you would close them other than that the hotel was fantastic.

Walking distance to Union Market. Last minute fast food are right across the street (Subway and Five Guys). The location was also felt ideal for Uber pick ups because the street was not overly crowded.
Negatives:
The pool should have been a heated pool. It was too cold! The bathrooms should also have installed vents in them. They should also offer complimentary breakfast for everybody.
