Positives:
Not the first time we were at the Fairmont, and the choice to ccome back was easy.
The rooms are large and well equipped and the beds are AMAZING!
The location of the hotel in between downtown DC and Georgetown is ideal. Just a short stroll and you're in Georgetown with restaurants and shops. Metrostation is close by.
There were large (wedding) parties at the courtyard of the hotel. Luckily we had our room to the outside of the hotel.
Negatives:
As we had the experience in the past of the high priced breakfast, not meeting ur expectations, we didn't have breakfast in the hotel. There are plenty of bakeries and other nice places to have a good breakfast.
The AC/ vents in the room is loud, probably an older system. Even when one switches the AC off entirely, the noise stays.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, in a great location great service and excellent maid service. I enjoyed the comfy beds and spacious rooms and balcony view of the courtyard. Everyone was extremely helpful and polite.
Negatives:
I did not like the bathroom very much as it was somewhat dated and not well designed. The shower was ok but I'm really nit picking. The ice machine could have been better and the room didn't have a refrigerator or large ice bucket. Everything was super expensive on-site but otherwise the hotel was perfect
