It would help if we got better instructions on parking. We were on the road all day travelling. By the time we reached hotel it was super late. Had no clue how to navigate to reception. Once we finally got in, we discovered parking not included and cost us $60 to park overnight in the parking deck.

Didn’t like that the only use of the tv was if you could connect your device to it to watch something. Thats stupid and trying to connect was super frustrating and complicated. The turn over service also was just ok. They didn’t give us a new ice bag and didn’t clean up the trash on the counters.

Positives:
Location is excellent, right on The Wharf. Property well taken care of and staff very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was excellent and great to have in house so can get going early and start off day. Bonus is the free Southwest Neighborhood shuttle which transports passengers to 5 locations, one being the National Mall. At the end of a busy day of walking and touring, the Wharf has numerous restaurants, most with outdoor seating facing the water. No need to go very far from property for dinner. Overall excellent location and facilities for a reasonable price for its location.
Negatives:
The entrance was difficult to find initially. Hotel lobby is on second floor with minimal signage as to where to proceed when you enter the ground floor elevator area. I had to ask hostess at the restaurant next door.

Hotel refused to honor the type of room I booked thru Booking.com. Offered absolutely no apology or restitution.
"Den" area of our room was a joke.
Pillows were horrible.
Valet parking was only option & cost was ridiculous.
