The hotel facilities are generally excellent, and the staff are kind and attentive.

I am writing to address a double charge issue that occurred on 2024-08-11. On this date, I was charged twice for the same extended stay: once by Booking.com and once by the InterContinental Hotel. Both charges were approximately $300 for the same room on the same date.
I have contacted both Booking.com and the hotel multiple times to resolve this matter. Booking.com acknowledged the error and assured me that a refund would be processed. They even sent me an email confirming this. However, despite waiting for three weeks, I have yet to receive the refund in my account.
I kindly request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible, as it has already caused unnecessary inconvenience. Please let me know if any further information is needed to expedite the refund process.

The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need. They were not only professional but genuinely friendly, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance whenever needed. Their knowledge of the local area was impressive, providing excellent recommendations for dining and activities.
Overall, our stay at InterContinental Washington DC exceeded all expectations. The combination of the stunning property, world-class facilities, and outstanding staff made for an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.
