Check in was excellent and the room was nicer than I expected. Food at the restaurant was good and had a fairly extensive menu.
Negatives:
I was surprised at the parking fee. Based on the website, I expected a $40 daily fee. I was not thrilled by this charge but planned for it. When I checked out I was then assessed a parking fee of about $60 or $65 per night.

The location was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The staff, John, Reina and Kierra were very nice and helpful and did what they could to make up for the issues that kept happening. The valet employees were great and friendly.
Negatives:
The bar Dirty Habit had music playing loudly and could be heard all day and into the night. The base thumped through our room. The woman that worked at the restaurant on Monday (April 1, 2024) was extremely rude, hung up on us while we were still speaking to order room service and didn't hear the entire order. The hotel offered us a complimentary breakfast and when the same woman delivered our food, she demanded we pay. I explained that the manager had given us the complimentary meal. She said if that was true we would have a voucher. She walked away and added it to our bill anyhow. Reina was able to refund it as soon as I saw it on my bill that was emailed to me. Our doordash was taken from the counter and the guy at the counter was matter a fact and not apologetic. kids running up and down the halls yelling, doors slamming all the time, the doors had large gaps in the bottom and it probably didn't help to make the room quieter, mildew in shower, 1 rough and scratchy robe, no medicine (even Advil) . The cleaning staff never cleaned our room. The room furniture was dated and old, there wasn't any outlets on one side of the bed or through the room. The plugs in the bed side table were old and our charging cords kept falling out. I had to plug my phone and laptop in the bathroom outlets. I was very disappointed and that as much as the room cost, that it would be nicer. I have had a better experience at hotels that cost half of the price.

Location is excellent. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our dinner in the restaurant was fantastic.
Negatives:
The bed was extraordinarily uncomfortable. So much so that we had backaches in the morning. So much so that we left a day early despite the fact that we had to pay for the second night (at around $750 with all the taxes and fees included).

They could not find our reservation at check-in. Hotel bar added 18% service charge on our bill, which was not intended to supplant a tip for our server. So, 18% on a hotel food service tab, then adding DC tax to that amount is 20% upcharge pre tip?

Both of the rooms we were put in smelled very musty and felt damp. The hallways reeked of weed. When I asked if there was any vending areas in the hotel to get a bottle of water, the hotel staff asked my room number, I told her and she handed me a room temp bottle and said she would put it on the bill. I asked how much it would be and she didn't know. I gave it back to her. There were a ton of very young adults who were drunk and loud. Not respectful at all. We ended up leaving. Didn't stay the night but was charged $450. I can deal with quite a bit but the weed smell did it for me.

I loved the interior design of everything. It looks luxurious and the staff there are very welcoming. It even has a bar and restaurant didnt try the food but the bartender was very full of energy. I definitely loved the vibe of it all. It was super close to the arena which was a plus.

Wish it had a microwave in the rooms. Couldnt heat up food. But it had a refrigerator.
