Well equipped kitchen
Due to the hotel being overbooked we were moved to another hotel for our first night, they paid for that night which was a nice way to make up for the inconvenience of having to move hotels.
Negatives:
I found the desk staff not overly friendly.
When we arrived the first morning the gentleman at the desk was abrupt and told us they were overbooked and no rooms were ready. We expected to have to check our bags however he was not courteous.
When we came back at 4:30 the woman at the desk was also abrupt when she said the room wasn’t ready. We sat in the lobby and waited.

Location was perfect for Nationals baseball park, nice walking distance to river, subway was easy to use to go sight see the White House etc.

I have nothing bad to say . The staff was excellent and helpful, the lobby was a great set up for our large group to watch a baseball game!

Overall, a good value and the staff were very nice.
Negatives:
We were first given a room that smelled like cigarette smoke and they tried to fix this with an air purifier. They even left the purifier in the room. so it was obvious that they knew there was a problem. This was late at night and we only noticed the smell in the bathroom (seemed to be coming from the exhaust system) so we stayed for one night. The next day, it was much worse and we asked to move to another room. the hotel was not full. I dont understand why they would put anyone in this room when they know there is a major issue. The new room was fine.
