The lobby, bar area and restaurant are great! The location is perfect for visiting the city. Happy hour was excellent, the drinks were delicious. We also had a yummy breakfast on Sunday morning. The wait staff at breakfast were so friendly.
Negatives:
While the lobby is beautiful, the hallways are dark and kind of scary if Im being honest. The rooms are just average- nothing really spectacular. Front desk staff are cold and unfriendly. The internet didnt work the entire time we stayed.

The resort fee and the parking fee added up to be significant money.

The location is great for getting to the main museums and sights. It is also walkable to a couple of great streets for restaurants. The downstairs restaurant has very good food if you are too tired to go out one night and their breakfast is great. There is also a huge WholeFoods right nearby as well. Hanks Oyster House is great and easy to walk to. Super helpful staff. Very comfortable bed!
Negatives:
Just a tad expensive but that is not unusual for DC hotels.

Excellent service!!!! The room was always clean and tidy. The hotel is soo close to the white house, capitol, Abraham Lincoln memoryal, even to Arlington Cemetery. 5 min. Walk from the metro to any place you would like to visit.

I loved how friendly the staff was. They have complimentary bikes to borrow. The coffee shop, bar and resturaunt were all excellent. Pet friendly. Very nice hotel was not too expensive. And a great location near lots of embassies and the big attractions including the museum of Victims of Communism.
