Staff and facilities are absolutely amazing, and the location is convenient. If you get caugh here without an umbrella, you'll walk the streets in style.
Negatives:
As a result of booking through booking.com, my inclusive breakfast barely subsidized breakfast. I also found the bar staff to be underaccommodating. So one is on booking.com and the other the Watergate.

The lunch was good, however the other guests at a nearby table were very loud.
Negatives:
Our room on the forth floor was right over the outdoor l parking pull up and loud. It was an awful view. Our last stay we overlooked the pool. In addition, we looked out directly at the office building and vice Vera and having to keep our curtains closed because of it- felt claustrophobic.

Unfortunately a chain smoker stayed in the room next to ours (room 312), smoking on her balcony from morning through evening. We loved our room & looked forward to spending more time enjoying the view from our balcony, alas, that wasn’t the case. Usually our room didn’t smell like smoke because we kept our door closed but the last night of our stay I could smell it sitting on the sofa, so I guess it came through the vent. I didn’t complain presuming the hotel allows smoking in outdoor areas &, frankly, because the smoker’s addiction probably already causes her enough pain & discomfort.

The location was great as we walked to all the sites we wanted to see. Most of the staff were friendly.
Negatives:
They could not get the keys to our room and blamed it on me. They kept saying it was the reservation they had trouble with. We had to go to the desk for room keys for four days. The air conditioner was not cooling the room, and it took them four days before anyone came and checked.

The hotel was nice and so were the staff . They also have a lovely spa.
Negatives:
The hotel had a bad smell, everything was overpriced (room $900, 2 drinks at the bar was $75, parking $58/night and the spa was $380 for a 50min massage) and our room was extremely small . The bed was too close to the table . I injured my shin on the bed due to little space between the bed and the table . There were cobwebs all over the balcony and there were dirty wash clothes and towels in our room that we never used. Last but not least, the rooftop only look good at night. Very small compared to photos and not the cleanest.

The room was right next to the elevators and the noise kept us up all night
