Positives:
The hotel itself is well situated, and the public areas are beautifully maintained.
Negatives:
BUT our room was horrible, with no hot water which I complained about several times to the staff; we had a 5 night stay. We were three people in our room, so no hot water was a significant problem. They said they would send people up to fix it and maybe they did when we weren’t there but it didn’t change the temperature of the water. Despite my repeated escalations of the issue they did not resolve the issue. Also the room keys failed on two separate days. It was the battery that kept dying. We had to call for security on two separate occasions to be let into our room. Bottom line, I wouldn’t be staying here again, nor would I recommend it for anyone staying there. It was very pricey. They should have moved us into another room or significantly reduced the rate ($800+ on the peak night). They gave me a $50 credit against a several-thousand dollar bill; insulting. Oh, I forgot to say that the room service was not consistently provided. I think they’re trading on their history. They apologized, but talk is cheap.
