Negatives: I spoke with a front desk attendant regarding my reservation through Booking.com. The employee's name was Marisa. From the beginning to end of the call, she was very rude. She initially cut me off, trying to answer a question that I wasn't asking. I then explained that if she allowed me to finish my turn in speaking, then she would note that my problem was something other than her response. For the remainder of the call, she continued to be short and non-empathetic to my issue. My issue was that the dates were incorrect on my reservation. I put a request in with booking.com to alter the dates. They sent me an email saying that the request has been sent to the hotel and Booking.com was awaiting their approval to process the request. Marisa proceeded to assure me that Booking.com would not allow the change and that they sent the email because they didn't want to deny the request themselves. The next day, a manager arrived and processed the request. The dates were changed. I feel that Marisa was a terrible representation of customer support for any company and would recommend her termination. After arriving to our room, there was an irregular amount of rain in the area. The next issue was that our room began to flood from a leak located near the window side of our room. After calling the front desk, we were notified that we would have to downgrade our room to a double queen room instead of the king room we had originally reserved. This was not a pleasant stay and we will not be returning to this hotel.

Positives: Dogs barking in room 2 down from us. Everytime someone walked in hallway. Very noisy on 6th floor late into the night. Kids going back and forth between rooms. Doors slamming, loud talk. I mean really loud.

Negatives: It was not clean and I received different information from staff regarding whether or not they had a car seat available for the airport shuttle for my toddler. When I called I was told it wasn?t a problem and yes they had one- that was not the case.

Positives: Great staff. Clean hotel. Clean room. Very pleased with your fast complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Your driver was also excellent. Good driver and he was very pleasant.
Negatives: There were no safes in any of the rooms and no safe in the reception desk area so we could safely store our passports, important documents, charge cards and money. Did not like the fact there was no restaurant in the hotel. Did not like the fact that Danie Pointe was too far to walk to since I have a mobility issue and did not have a car.

Positives: The room was clean, a bit older. The room was larger than expected. There is a gap under the door where if someone wanted to see you they could, I put a towel in front of it for the duration of my stay. The bathroom has a walk-in shower which would be very convenient for a disabled traveler, not sure they could get a wheelchair through the door but if they could walk short distances they could get into it - a disabled traveler would need to bring a stool or portable seat for the shower.
Negatives: Was told there were dining options within walking distance of the hotel. When I arrived found that the only thing available was Thai food and everything else was a 20-minute walk at best. I had specifically asked this question as I knew I would not have a car available to me and would want to get some dinner when I arrived. Ending up ordering from what was advertised as room service when in fact it was an outside vendor, and the food was absolutely awful, not edible and extremely overpriced $38,00 plus without tip. Ordered a steak sandwich, bread and fries were soggy, I am not sure what kind of meat they used but it sure was not any steak I had ever seen. I stayed at Home2Home as I had stayed at another one and they served a very good breakfast. This location serves a minuscule type of breakfast more than just a continental but just barely. It consisted of bagels, juices, 2 different types of very small pre-made omelets, cereal, sausage. Could be considered adequate by some unless you have a picky eater then they may go hungry. This location will pick up of from the airport free of charge, but the shuttle does not state Home2Home, when I stayed it was called Blue Star and unless someone gets out of the vehicle with some type of cardboard sign you would never know that is your ride. It is not mentioned when you call to get picked up, they just advise you to go to a certain location and wait. They will take you to the cruise port for an additional fee. At the time of my stay, it was $15.00 a person. The elevator buttons are not located where you would normally see them, they are right next to the elevator door tucked around the corner and not in plain view.
