Wyndham Garden Ft Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

Negatives: Hotel food wasn't the greatest. Paid for frozen vegetables and kids mac and cheese. Didn't like that i had to pay for late check out. If available, why not just allow guest to extend. $55 until 3:30pm

Negatives: The driver working on Wednesday 12th around 3:00 pm was very rude to me when I called him to get shuttle services from the airport. When he arrived to pick us up he was worse and he was angry! He approached me asking loudly “Is it you who needs shuttle services??!” The shuttle service bus had a different hotel name so, I wanted to make sure that we were getting on the right bus, I asked him if he was the driver from Wyndham and he loudly said: “Just get in and don’t worry about it!!” He seemed upset for something but it was not my fault that he was upset. I was with my kids tired and just wanted to get to the hotel and rest. Terrible experience that day with that driver.

Negatives: Drove into Everglades the night before thru huge storm on 06/11/24. Got up early 06/12/24 and drove thru another/same storm to Dania beach location that we had reservation for already. We arrived around noon 3 hours before official check in. At this time it is raining non stop and streets are flooding. I ask the lady at the front desk if there is a possibility of checking in early due to the weather? She said yes but with an additional $50 charge. So I question it again considering the weather? Yes they can accommodate us but only for an additional $50. At this point I decline and said we’ll find something to do for 3 hours. She then so graciously offered we sit in their lounge area. At this point all I wanted to do was lay down in my room and relax after driving thru a bad storm. If she would of just said we cannot check you in early that would of been more acceptable to me BUT for an additional charge we can. Ridiculous. So we got find a mall to kill time. It took us 20 min to get there. Once we left to go back to room and check in most all roads are flooded now with several cars stalled out in the high water points. Our nav was going crazy redirecting us due to several road closures. 3.5 - 4 hours later we finally make it back to the hotel to check in. Yea I was a little upset at this point. We get to our room and after settling in we just decide to grab a bite to eat in the lounge area as our flight went out early. The service there was horrible and food not much better. So bad I wanted to walk in the rain to a place down the street. My wife wisely talked me out of that. All in all I think it was ridiculous they would not check us in early due to the weather circumstances. Definitely ruined our last day of vacation. Wyndham Garden you’ll never see my business again

Negatives: Drinking water was not always available, especially after the jar was empty it wasn't replaced promptly, even after I've talked to staff. Breakfast is not free, but I I don't care about it. But being from Brazil where the breakfast is a big thing at hotels it is a little bit disappointing.

Negatives: I was disappointed breakfast wasn’t complimentary; the food provided was not any better than other hotels I’ve stayed in recently that did offer complimentary breakfast. I reported to the front desk clerk a housekeeping problem and a maintenance problem with the tub, neither of which were resolved/repaired. When I informed the desk clerk at checkout the desk clerk apologized and offered me a free breakfast. I was very unhappy that there was no access into the hotel from the 2nd level of the parking garage; all access is through the ground floor. Walking down the ramp in the parking garage to reach the first floor entrance made me uncomfortable and was dangerous. One of the first time I walked down a car came up the ramp and almost hit me! The only other way down to the ground floor was a stairwell I was uncomfortable using. The pool patio seems to be able to accommodate access to the hotel from the 2nd level of the parking garage.

Negatives: The person at front desk who greeted us was in a bad mood and kept watching a video instead of acknowledging us. We checked in late in the 1am-2am hours
