It was a nice getaway...

This is our second time visiting this resort. The location is great. Due to tourist season being over, there weren't many people on the beach, which was fine with us. Would have liked to see more sun, but no one has control over the weather
Negatives:
Think the room rates were on the high side. You also have to pay for self parking, which is ridiculous considering the room rates. Additionally, the room descriptive was misleading. Was under the impression we were reserving an ocean front room. When we presented to the hotel, they advised us it was an ocean front coastal view. Ended up paying an additional $150 for a real ocean front. Please be aware of this!

Bathroom was falling apart sink was not connected with vanity. Tile needs to be replaced. All and all rooms are completely outdated. We go there probably 5 times a year but this last visit was our last.

Lack of room amenities- no clock, no toiletries except for locked soap and conditioner in shower- no bar soap for shower. No glassware even though you have an ice bucket. No blanket just sheets, iron was so cheap didn’t work well. Very dated and beat up furniture in rooms. AC was struggling to keep room cool or they turn regulate it at night. Shower curtain yellowed and torn. Housekeeping- not sure what they do , they left a stack of linen on counter and left bed unmade.
