The luxurious Atlantic Hotel & Spa is located on Fort Lauderdale Boulevard adjacent to white, sandy beaches. Bonnet House Museum and Gardens is 0.8 mi away from the beachfront resort. All guestrooms were newly renovated Summer of 2023 and completed in August 2023 A cable TV, balcony, and ironing facilities are included in each spacious hotel room. A microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, and mini-bar are also provided. The private bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, free toiletries, and a bathrobe. Guests can relax in the on-site beauty salon or unwind with a massage in the spa boutique. A sauna, hot tub, and outdoor pool are available as well as a fitness center, gift shop, restaurant, and bar. The hotel is located 3.1 mi from the Fort Lauderdale city center. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is 3 minutes' drive away. The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale shopping mall is 1.3 mi away from the Atlantic property.

I inquired about a late check out the day before. The desk staff told me to call the next day as early as 2am to be eligible. So I was anxious all night so I would wake up at 2am and when I called was then told to call back at 8 am. When i called back at 8 am there was no availability .

The Atlantic is my favorite place to stay in Fort Lauderdale.
Positives:
We were allowed early check in for a fee, after coming off a cruise ship. This allowed us to unpack, unwind and enjoy the room and resort earlier than expected. We had 1 bedroom ocean front suite, and the room was huge, with 2 bathrooms, and an extra-large balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. The pool is large and has a pool bar, and Chris the bartender was friendly and makes great drinks. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable, all at a price that was lower than the Hilton and Conrad next door.
Negatives:
The hotel is on the main street, but that is the area. There was some traffic noise, but not overly noticeable.

For late checking like one to two hours she insisted to charge us because we stayed 15 days the head of house keeping talked to her and she waved it. She stressed us big time.

A few items did not work in the room. The tv, which they replaced, the toilet took three times to flush, a piece from the fridge was missing and a piece of the faucet. The food was not good at the hotel restaurant. There is a $45/per day resort fee.

This hotel is in a good location with a nice beach front view but the people at the reception were terrible when we arrived.! The man and woman who were working in the afternoon treated us like we were not liked and not welcomed. The reception was just not friendly, and they quickly/rudely dismissed us since the room/reservation was not ready. Later, when the room was ready, we timidly approached to get our keys and their terse instructions and just tried to avoid them.

The people at the front desk were unfriendly, rude and unwelcoming.
