Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. NOT MUCH ROOM SMELLED. POTS AND PANS DIRTY. NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST.

THE PICK UP AT AIRPORT TOOK OVER 1 HOUR AFTER ONE TEXT AND THREE PHONE CALLS. THE NIGHT DESKMAN WAS RUDE. THERE WERE 16 OF US STAYING THERE AND WERE TOLD ON PHONE WHEN WE GET THERE TO REQUEST ROOMS CLOSE TO EACH OTHER AND WAS DENIED. ROOMS SCATTERED ON DIFFERENT FLOORS FAR AWAY. OUR ROOM SMELLED LIVE BO AND MY COUSIN S SMELLED LIKE DIRTY FEET. NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. POTS AND PANS WERE DIRTY.

Details of travel/transfer from airport were not clear. Every from airport/cruise transport was extra and not clearly expained on website. Cost of water for room and anything else was not explained ahead of booking. Felt like being nickled and dimed for everything.

All additions costs could be spelled out on website, plus transfer costs, options should be told, highlighted ahead of time. Priority of cruise terminal transfer should be highlighted. Our transfer was one hour late!

Positives:
The property was very clean, looked great. There is a small, but almost fully equipped gym, and a laundry room, with newer washers and dryers. There are ample food and toiletry items that can be billed to your room. The kitchen in the room was fully equipped, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a spacious vanity, which is a must! Very close to restaurants, and basic shopping area.
Negatives:
No pool, a bit far from the beach, and I wasn’t aware that I was going to be charged a $100 incidental deposit that won’t be credited back for 5 business days! Most hotels that charge these deposits credit them back to your card within an hour of check-out, and after inspection. This deposit WAS NOT MENTIONED or STATED on this site, nor the property’s web site! Also, someone from the cleaning staff tried to barge in on me, without knocking! Thank goodness I had the door completely locked!
