It was close to the college.
Negatives:
The breakfast was terrible. Food looked like wax toys and tasted like wax. The toaster only toasted one side which was ok because the bread was stale/hard anyway. Plus no coffee due to coffee maker being broken. Really!!!

The room was very large and comfortable. The hotel location is centrally located and close to UF Shands Hospital. We did noticed Road noise early in the morning. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel.

The bed was extremely hard, so much so that you were sore when you woke up. Also the breakfast buffet didn't have any meat or fruit on it. Spouse has celiac and all she could eat was the oatmeal.

I booked with Booking.com and the reservation was not found. So I booked with the hotel and the booking.com reservation didn't come through till after midnight. Both parties are refusing to give me a refund so I paid double.

I was charged $134.79 as a deposit for both room, representative said it will be refunded. IT DID NOT. I contacted the manager, it took multiple attempts before I finally got 1 reply back. All it was said was he did not do it, nothing was charge from the hotel. I sent again the statement from the bank, he never reply. So irresponsible, and what a thief of a hotel. BECAREFUL EVERYONE. Dont let them run the deposit.

Large room, good breakfast buffet. graveyard desk clerk was very pleasant.
Negatives:
Bedding and pillows poor quality. Daytime front desk staff rude and unhelpful when asked for help with missing hairdryer in room. refused to take from an empty room and rather have me leave hotel with wet hair (despite I was a registered guest).

Location near UF
Negatives:
No AC in the bedroom the first night, no price reduction for that.
No cleaning for 3 days in both rooms.
No Ac in comon areas and of course a bad smell because of it.
Very expensive for an outdated hotel.
No sound isolation and construction next door starting at 06:00 AM.
Bad maintenance, it is falling apart.

Stained carpet, very foul odor in hallway and at the entrance of the elevator. There were no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. Room carpet had a stain and smell.
