The room was very clean, the beds were awesome! They slept very well. The variety of breakfast choices was great. The fitness room was a nice touch to help us stay on our healthy lifestyle journey while away from home.
Negatives:
For starters, the young lady (Ella) who checked us in was not very pleasant or informative at all! She made us wait for several minutes ( no one else was being waited on!)
The other issue that would've been a deal breaker had I known in advance, per Ella, the pool was being renovated. So my little one was very disappointed, to say the least. Nothing in the entire pool area looked like it was being renovated! The pool was fully operable, nothing was disconnected, etc.
The ice machine on the 4th floor was broken .
Signs apologizing for renovations were everywhere in the building but never posted on the website(s) selling the rooms. Not very transparent.

When I walked into the room it was like walking into a Super 8 and I didn't pay for that. This is the first Hampton in which I stay and kinda regret my decision. The staff was polite to me however they were talking about another guest who apparently had been rude.
