Meliá Orlando is a full-service Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® hotel located in the town of Celebration originally developed by The Walt Disney Company, only 2.5 mi from Walt Disney World® Free Shuttle is provided for all guests to and from the major surrounding theme parks and water parks: Universal Orlando™ just 12 miles away, SeaWorld Orlando™ 10 miles away and Walt Disney World ® Each suite features A full-size kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher and microwave. As well as a living room with 50-inch flatscreen Cable TV, dining table and a queen size sofa sleeper in addition to a private balcony. A laundry room with washers and dryers are available for guest use on each building of the hotel. The Meliá Orlando offers a wide and varied activities program, designed for all ages and tastes. Featuring indoor and outdoor activities, games and experiences for the young, and the young at heart so that adult guests have time to lounge by the relaxing pool while the kids have fun. An on-site restaurant and bar with poolside service is provided serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The café area at The Wilson proudly serves Starbucks® coffee. Meliá guests enjoy free full access and usage of the 3-story, 40,000 sq. foot gym at the AdventHealth Wellness Center Celebration located next door to the property. On-site, guests may also feel the energy of instructor-led studio lessons and rides with the Immersive Cardio on their Peloton Bike and Mirror workout spaces available to rent for private sessions. The property is dog friendly and has a dog park on-site to accommodate pet owners while on vacation. All Guests have free access to a daily cocktail hour to enjoy free drinks Welcome Refreshments and snacks in rooms included Ice Skating Ring will be fully operational from October 20th until December 31st.

The cleaning staff cleaned daily and called to see if we needed services. I love how welcoming and accommodating the staff were! Pool towels provided at poolside. On-site restaurant with delicious food.

People were very friendly, the room was great and the location was very convenient to ESPN center where we were playing a soccer tournament. I loved the dog friendliness the best. I liked the theme pool parties even though I never used the pool
Negatives:
The restaurant. The app was not working to order take out or room service. We had breakfast one morning and it wasn't filled up and it was very very slow. We were seated in the bar area at a hightop and sat with multiple servers going by for over 20 minutes. We hailed down a waitress and she helped us and was very nice, but I guess the older gent was the manager and he snapped at us and said "Were you seated at this table?" The food prices were "ok" but the alcohol prices were outrageous. Two drinks was $42!

Positives:
Pool area was great, self-service laundry room was good, easy parking. Room was spacious and accurate to pictures
Negatives:
Location was a bit difficult to find since there was little instructions how to drive there and building was a bit further from the main road.
Our room was nice with own kitchen.
Really only downside was a cocroach in our room on first day :( I know they are common in warm climate and not dangerous but it was not a nice surprise. Luckily it was only that one.
We were not happy with breakfast pricing as the menu didn’t have prices for coffee and juice, which were self-service so we thought that they were included in the menu-items, but then it was 5$ for coffee and 5$ for juice per person + 20% service. That wasn’t a nice surprise.
