We loved the location of the hotel - we were 5 minutes from the beach and we had the whole beach to ourselves pretty much. We also loved to get the free trolley to South Beach.
Negatives:
I felt for the resort fee we did not get much. The hotel is described as having an area on the beach with loungers and umbrellas. This was not the case, though they did let us take the ones that were in the hotel (which were a bit old and scratty).

My family and I enjoyed staying here. The staff was so personal and accommodating. The hotel was so clean and we loved the vintage decor and style. The location was perfect 20 minutes from Ocean Drive and 30 minutes from downtown! It was the perfect spot! Oh and the food was delicious as well! We will be back!

We had booked 4 rooms with 2 queen size beds, however, we were given only 2 rooms of that configuration and 2 rooms with king size beds. This made it very difficult for us to accommodate our kids. Manager just raised their hands and said it's booking.com problen

Zero soundproof, so loud at night and daytime, door closing sounds is so loud, and you can hear everything. Pool is small and dirty, no chairs and umbrella at the beach.

the windows do not open, there is no place to dry things, it was a bit dirty. things dried for 3 days. there is no drying in the hotel, there is no place to dry things. the elevator did not work for two days. there was no warm water for half a day (when you are with a child after the ocean, you can feel it)
