Positives: The Trouvail is a little gem. The rooms are gracious in size and the staff is friendly and helpful. They provide a quiet place to have a restful and relaxing stay.
Negatives: The pool is mostly in the shade which could be seen as a positive for some. They rarely extend a late check out as they are small and are often fully booked.

Positives: Such a cute little place to stay. Straight out of the show Dexter...which was exactly what we were looking for. Shower poweful and hot and bed super comfy. Lovely quirky place to stay, with free sunbeds and towels for the beach. Memorable for part of our honeymoon

Positives: We were there for a bachelorette and it was super ideal for 4 girls to stay in one room. We had a blast! The property was super cool, cozy and comfortable. They were also kind and accomodating. TOTALLY worth the price.
Negatives: Everything was great - apart from the fact that we received a noise complaint when we weren't really being loud. We weren't playing music or anything and it was around 9:30 PM. Staff was very sweet in handling this complaint from our neighbours. Also wish the in house bar stayed open for longer because the drinks there were pretty good!

Positives: Nice clean spacious room with a small kitchenette. Location is close to the beach (1 block away). The hotel has a nice interiour and pool. You get free towels for the beach. Next door parking (32$/day extra).
Negatives: Only get 2 new towels everyday, while we were staying with 4 in a room. You can get free access to beach chairs, but only 2 while we booked a 4 person room. AC was dripping water.

Negatives: The owners need to spend nights in their rooms to see what could be made better. Noise was a big factor of negativity.
