Negatives: Extremely Disappointing Penthouse Rental I recently rented a penthouse and was left thoroughly disappointed by the experience. The list of issues encountered during my stay was surprisingly long and detracted significantly from what could have been a pleasant experience. Firstly, despite its advertised ocean view, the penthouse offered no such vista. Instead, it faced the other side, missing the ocean entirely and providing views that were far from what was expected. This was a significant letdown as the view was one of the main reasons for choosing this rental. Additionally, the penthouse lacked even basic amenities such as drinking glasses for water or wine, and surprisingly, there was no minibar, which is typically standard in such accommodations. Access to the penthouse was another major issue; the complex was like a labyrinth, making it difficult to navigate, particularly with luggage in tow. The penthouse also suffered from very poor soundproofing. The noise from the street was constant and disruptive, further diminishing the quality of our stay. Moreover, the inability to connect my phone to the screen in the penthouse, despite claims of modern facilities, was frustrating and limited our entertainment options. One of the most unpleasant aspects was the persistent bad smell in the room, which made staying indoors quite unbearable. Overall, I would strongly advise against renting this penthouse. The lack of views, poor access, missing amenities, noise issues, and foul odor make it hard to enjoy what is supposed to be a luxury accommodation.

Negatives: There was an humidifier blasting outside our room

Negatives: Very indifferent welcome when we arrived. To be fair the front desk was busy . Also on arrival to our room the toilet was blocked . Evan though this was corrected quickly I thought it was something that should have been spotted on inspection before we was allocated the room .

Negatives: I don’t like the 20% gratiuity automatically added to everything and when you come to sign it asks for a gratuity still so you could easily end up giving a 35% gratuity. This practice seems widespread in Florida and its not good

Negatives: It was perfect

Negatives: We only used the concierge service once to book an Everglades tour, which they ended up booking for the wrong day and the wrong number of people (despite us being there with him at time of booking!) In the end the alternative day and additional people on the booking worked

Negatives: Our room (family suite) had limited storage for clothes and luggage. But was manageable for three nights, would be cramped for a longer stay.
