The location of the apartment/hotel was OK in relation to where we needed to be.
Negatives:
Did not like the property management company or staff. They played favorites on who could pay with cash and who could not, and then told other individuals that they did not have a cash register drawer. They did not offer any kind of complementary breakfast or even coffee or tea or waters to individuals staying in their facility. There was no accommodations for parking for paying individuals or guests. You had to park in a parking garage and walk approximately 1 to 2 blocks back to the hotel. The apartment/rooms were not up-to-date. We’re not clean, and all of the tiles on the floors were cracked catching your socks or your skin on the bottom of your feet.

Spacious but in need of renovation. Slightly smelly like mold. They could provide at least sold and pepper in the kitchen. The shower was only cold and nearly fell apart. Pool felt and looked muggy. But it was super close to the beach and center. No car needed.

I was politely greeted at the front desk. One agent attempted to move me to a new room. He also said he would speak with housekeeping to have the room deep cleaned. I liked that there were windows that I could open for fresh air.
Negatives:
I would have appreciated the front desk being knowledgeable about the area. I inquired about the closest vegan take out and grocery store upon arrival and was advised to google it. That was the response that I received for all questions that I asked. I've never been to Miami and that area. They could have also assisted me with my luggage upon arrival and departure and I could have been shown to my room.
The room could have been clean. The dirty floor was the first thing that I saw when I entered the room, which prompted me to look around. The bathroom tub, walls, floor, and mirror were dirty. The toilet seat was broken, I almost fell on the floor. The fridge and freezer were dirty. I was given a key to another room to view instead of waiting for housekeeping to clean the one I was initially assigned, that wasn't as dirty, but the bathroom was. All I wanted to do was take a bubble bath every day during my stay and there was no hot water. When housekeeping arrived, that staff didn't speak English at all, and I tried to ensure that she was there to clean everything. She used a translation app that seemed to help us. She told me that she only turns the room over generally. I visited the front desk to inform them. I returned to the room, and it was a bit better; the toilet seat was fixed, and the room was a bit cleaner. Some areas were never cleaned, the same dirt was in the same spots. The room was not taken care up much.
There was a sign in the kitchen to notify guests that the dishes have not been sanitized per a Miami/Florida standard (or something like that). That is totally gross and defeats the point of a full kitchen. I booked that room so that I could cook!
I requested a discount for the dirty room and inquired about the availability for adding 1 day to my reservation, the front desk advised that I contact booking.com because they do not deal with anything like that. I e-mailed booking.com and never received a response.

Every thing was so bad even the front desk , I was so tired from my travelling and I need my room to get sleep and they tell me wait until 7 am we can check you in and it’s was 4 am and I sleep in my car because I need my room and I pay money for it then they cancel my reservation
