Positives:
Decent room and shower. Staff was helpful. Location is convenient so you can quickly get to Brickell center (and MIA Mover) quickly. The nearby Underline (walking path) was an unexpected surprise (was able to walk to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens).
Negatives:
Breakfast was not up to par for a Tru facility. Bagels were terrible (Tru Hotels usually have quality bagels). Very busy hotel so just too many people around at all times.

After calling to share that we would be late and indicating our time of arrival - when we arrived we waited for 45 minutes at the front desk for someone to show up as several other guests also arrived.

Parking, parking and parking! Highway robbery. Valet guys were great but this part of the experience sucked.

Loved this hotel!! Convenient, great location, great snacks and food, wonderful lobby and waiting area, friendly Team members, great breakfast & nice pool view. Our new go to spot in Miami

The hotel is clean and well appointed. The room is small but had all we needed. There is no coffeemaker in the room which is fine with me (never know the sanitary status of those). There is coffee and tea in the lobby day and night.
Negatives:
$37 Dollars a day valet is so overpriced. You could park in the limited spaces along the parameter. The hotel is located neighborhood that is a biy sketchy and resturants are very limited.
