The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The coffee was good.

There were boxes of floor tile in front of the couch my husband had to move it so we could sit down. There were ants in the bathroom. The hall ways looked like they could stand to be vacuumed and carpet in the room was dirty. The breakfast was just barely ok.

They did not make up the bed or replace the towels with fresh ones. Actually no room service at all. Then the maid knocked on the door at 9:30 am the last day saying they had to prepare the room as I was checking out that day. I had to remind her check out is at 11am. That was uncalled for.
There is a so called "third party fee" of $30 no where stated on booking.com the hotel charges you and you will not be given a room unless you pay it up front, they stated it will be returned after the stay. They will not provide you with a receipt at checkout. Since the room was not booked through them.

The front desk person was really nice. He was apologetic for the prose reported. He answered my questions about local eateries. He was would be an awesome employee for a good hotel.
Negatives:
The floors of the lobby were dirty. The carpet in the hallways is worn out and trash on the floor. The commode would not flush and had a black ring in it. There were dead bugs and cobwebs behind the bathroom door. The dust ruffle on the bed had something on it that looked like body fluids. The sheets and towels were dingy. Homeless people living right behind hotel. Woke up to police in our hallway talking to some other quests staying there. I wish that I went in and checked out this hotel before reserving online. Worst place I have ever stayed in Florida.

This was a terrible hotel in all my years of traveling in Florida.
Negatives:
Found brown spots of filth when cleaning and wiping tub, strands of hair from a previous guest in the jetted tub, false lashes and hair between the bed sheets, holes in bathroom wall, safety door latch wasnt working properly and sometimes would unlatch by itself, the curtains didnt offer enough privacy for the jetted tub in the room.
