The staff was pleasant. The room was clean.
The location is close to SeaWorld
The common areas were cleaned
The property is a good property there are just a few changes that are not deal breakers.
Negatives:
I have stayed at this particular property many times in the past. This is our family's annual visit to the area and we always stay at this property.
I know the hotel industry was hit hard during covid and are slowly recovering.
the property is charging registered guest for parking. This was not done previously on any of our other visits.
the parking charge took me by surprise.
As I reviewed my booking on booking.com the parking fee is buried far down on the page which I wasn't looking for as I have stayed here before.
Times change which I understand
the explanation by the staff , for the parking fee is what I had an issue with.
Breakfast used to served until a later time. Breakfast time is now earlier and ends earlier. After spending the an entire day at a local theme park and getting In late sleeping a little later is not unreasonable.
Again i guess times change and so do hotel properties. .
The property is still a very good location which and clean.
I have enjoyed this property numerous times.
My family and I still enjoy the property
I was just mildly surprised at the changes the property has made.

Arrived walked into my room and beds were not made. Was moved down the hall from rest of my party. Bathroom door so hard to slide open and closed had to ask other person in room to open from other side as I could not get out of bathroom. Was over charged for parking. Had to call and get refunded since receipt was in email after I left hotel. I complained about the issues and was basically blown off. Sorry nothing we can do about it but we will make a note about it. That was supposed to appease me and do what.

The curtain has to be changed. The window had two curtains , one white the other the blackout. The black out does not close at all, so if you want to sleep the morning, you can't .
