Positives:
As we all know the hotel industry is a tough business with high costs , expenses & repeat & steady consumers make or break this extremely tough business. As you know you pay for what you get. With that said, We truly enjoyed the location very much, so much to do in the immediate area , we also enjoyed the great walking environment that as you get out towards Universal Blvd the landscape changes nearing the convention center. The surprisingly crisp bedsheets was also a pleasant surprise. Whereas the title appropriate, Give the place a try , keep an open mind because it's consumers like you & I with constructive comments that make the difference in a positive way.
Negatives:
I truly didn't enjoy the pool area which in my opinion was dirty , congested with a great view of black moldy mildew outside every window on almost every floor while sunbathing.

It was dirty and musty, the carpets are dirty. The bathroom was raw, I was afraid to take a shower in the bathroom. I kept spray perfume just to use it. the bed’s uncomfortable, i know i was only gonna be there for one night, so i didn’t complain. I found hair in my pillow. Who ever cleaned that room need to be fired. The worst birthday ever. If you see my comment, run don’t walk

Right next door to Icon Park. It was close to Universal and Disney springs. Had mini golf next door and the staff was always polite and welcoming. The outside and rooms were fairly clean.
Negatives:
There was mold on the shower curtain, some towels had weird stains. The floors in the bathroom and the door handles in our room were kind of sticky.

The only thing I liked was the location and that it was safe.

The room smelled very bad, the cleaning was okay, the beds were comfortable and the linens felt clean, the carpet was disgusting. The breakfast is very bad, at 9:30 am there was nothing.
The attention of the staff is so so.
I went a year ago and it has deteriorated a lot.
