Sonesta is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. The family-friendly Sonesta ES Suites is opposite ICON Park, which includes the Wheel at ICON Park. Universal Studios Orlando is 2 mi from the property. A transport service to attractions and a heated outdoor pool with a hot tub are provided. The Orange County Convention Center is 1.4 mi from the hotel. All suites feature a fully equipped kitchen and a seating area with a sofa bed. Sonesta ES Suites Orlando International Drive also includes a cable television in each suite. A quick service style breakfast café featuring hot breakfast sandwiches, bakery items, coffee drinks, and other breakfast items for purchase. Sonesta ES Suites Orlando International Drive guests will have access to an on-site 24-hour fitness center, children's pool, and video game room. A tour desk offering ticket sales to top theme parks is available for added convenience. Walt Disney World is a 12 minutes' drive away. Guests will also be 13 minutes' walk from the shops and dining options of Pointe Orlando.
Pet Amenities
Sonesta offers its pet guests designated dog relief areas complete with waste disposal bags as well as a door magnet that alerts staff that your pet is a guest at the hotel. Many locations also have doggie treats at the front desk.

This is the best place to stay for a family trip. you're on I-Drive cost to everything. most restaurants are in walking distance.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Especially Roxy. The property was clean and conveniently situated.
Negatives:
Housekeeping only removes garbage and change towels every three days. And general cleaning is once per week.

Positives:
Property was conveniently located in Icon Park but there were several issues with my stay. The bathroom toilet had to be fixed multiple times. There was trash in the parking lot all day; dirty diapers and bags of trash by my rental car.
Negatives:
The upkeep of the property could have been better and SXT rental car is located in the hotel so many of the parking spaces by my room were often taken up by the rental car company

Positives:
Great location on International Drive. Iride stop just outside for visiting malls. They do run a shuttle service to Universal, but we never used it as we were moving to the Portofino later in the week.
Negatives:
Nothing to dislike. Previous residents stayed the pool was small, which it is, but I wasn’t planning on setting any Olympic records
