My credit card was charged 100 USD for the room deposit (OK). Then it was charged again - without my consent - 90.31 USD overnight. The staff said that was a mistake and that the amount would have been released in few days.
Both the room deposit and the other amount were not released for 1 month and I had to ask my bank to deal with the chargeback.
I tried to contact the hotel explaining the issue several times (email, Booking.com chat) but they never replied. They were just keeping asking for a review... here we go.
Some of the restaurants in the hotel charge the gratuity (18%) automatically without informing you and even if you are a party of 2 like in our case. You should inform the clients and leave them the possibility to choose the amount of the tip.
The room and location of the hotel were OK.

Conveniently located close to Disney, very comfortable beds, spacious room, amenities are wonderful, lots to do when you’re not at the parks. We could see the fireworks from our room balcony. Lots of food choices and a parking ramp.

Not a 4 star. Shabby and tired hotel which is unhygienic and dirty in parts. Stained carpets and rusty bathroom fittings. Lack of cleaning in rooms. Plastic cups and no glasswear availablle in restaurant or rooms. Food and drinks are also hugely over priced: it was cheaper in the theme parks. 39 dollars extra per night for the resort which was poor at best. Construction material scattering mud and debris. There was even a sewage spill into the central lake which went unfixed for our whole stay. The pool bar was closed and replaced with a small tent. Poor service and largely empty hotel. Housekeeping will only change sheets every three days or on request, and will not vacuum or dust. Pool area is tired and dirty. Sun chairs are placed in standing filthy water and dirt. For the price, there are many far superior choices.
