La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Plantation At Southwest 6th Street

Negatives: We stayed in room 412. Stayed with my wife and 2 children. My kids woke up to spider bytes on their legs. There were spider webs on the frame board of one of the beds where my kids were sleeping. We noticed it when our kids were complaining about the bites. Besides that, the reflidgerator was smelly and had a stain that was not cleaned. In the morning, we had our complimentary breakfast, the scrambled eggs were soggy and tasteless. Almost everything else was unavailable and the staff took a while to restock the items. All the juices were out of juice on the dispencers besides the orange juice. In the lobby, it seems like the AC was out because the lobby was super hot or they just didn't want to turn on the AC.

Negatives: Breakfast needed better options.

Negatives: Room service nit cleaning the rooms when am out

Negatives: Ice machine broken. Disappointing since it's very hot and we had just driven almost 4 hours. I would have bought a bag of ice if I had known. My room also had no blow dryer.

Negatives: The staff was not helpful at all. I called the front lobby from the room to mention a very string smell of chlorine. The host put me on hold for 12 minutes before I hung up and called back. He did not answer the call back. He mentioned the cleaning crew may have used too much fabreze. So I had to sleep with a very strong smell of Chlorine, woke up to two spider bites on my arm, and lastly the bathroom was in pitiful condition.

Negatives: Lack of transportation to and from the airport
