This Saint Petersburg resort is on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Water sports activities such as parasailing and wave runners can be arranged. Fort de Soto Park is a 15-minute drive away. All rooms at the Sirata Beach Resort and Conference Center feature a refrigerator, CD player and a coffee maker. Some rooms include a balcony or patio with views of the beach and gulf. Compass Grille serves regional dishes featuring Florida seafood. Rum Runner’s Bar & Grille also serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a beach setting. Harry’s Beach Bar prepares tropical drinks and specialty sandwiches. The Sirata has 3 pools with poolside cabanas and 2 whirlpools. Beachfront hammocks, beach cabanas, and a fitness center are also available on site. Live music can be enjoyed at Harry’s Beach Bar on the weekends. The Sirata Beach Resort is less than 4 miles from Egmont Key State Park and less than 6 miles from Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. Downtown Saint Petersburg is a 14-minute drive away.

There was no music during our stay so we had to travel elsewhere for entertainment.
Bar closed early daily.
Before the new owners there was happy hour at 6pm, Which kept us at the resort in the evening.

Had to constantly call house keeping

The bathroom was really outdated, bathroom was too small. When inspecting the shower, I ran my finger around the wall of the tub and it was dirty. Tub got clogged when taking a showers all the way to my ankles. Very disappointed for the price we paid.

All the parts of the resort that we visited were very clean. Our room was in the main lobby building. (king studio w/balcony) and the room was beautiful,& very clean. ALL the staff, including Maids and construction workers.,(yes, construction was going on, but we were fine with that, just means they’re upgrading and remodeling all the rooms) but anyways, everyone was super friendly I mean, when you would make eye contact with someone in the hallway, or the elevator, they would always smile. and it was a genuine smile, not a Fake forced smile. We Booked this resort because it was in the middle of everything. So we did walk and go to a lot of different places, but I absolutely loved my stay here and we did frequent the rumrunners pool bar quite often.
