The rooms are spacious and breakfast was good
Negatives:
They had too many hidden fees and charged extra for parking as well as make you take your own luggage, it’s not what I expected from a Hilton suite……..they also kept charging my credit card all these different amounts while I was there and credited them back after I checked out, which is very strange….its the only hotel I have ever experienced this with, usually they just freeze a certain amount and that’s it. I have never been charged little amounts all through the stay as well as a deposit

Your picture prior to booking did not even come close to location or room. At check in we were up charged $345.57 for a room with one queen and a pull out couch. Property located at the busiest intersection in Sarasota. Parking terrible..

Bait and switch
Positives:
Very nice property with an excellent view from our upper story room, close to restaurants that you can easily walk to, excellent breakfast included in rate and breakfast dining area with a view. The staff was also kind and friendly except for the guy cooking our omelettes. The room is a bit expensive but the facilities are nice.

It was close to harbour and shops but did not feel like a holiday stay.
Negatives:
Sounds entitled but the room we booked had a sofa-bed for my son, when we arrived it wasn’t made up, we asked at reception and then a guy turned up with a bag of bedding and handed it to us to make ourselves. At $550 per night before taxes this was not acceptable. The lifts were so slow we took the grimy stairs as much as possible. The food/breakfast was terrible other than the fresh Omelette station.
