The room was average at best and it costs 3 times as much as other rooms on our trip. Definitely not worth the high rate.
Negatives:
The room and the hotel were outdated. The cost per night was triple what we were paying for much nicer rooms elsewhere.

Expensive, average to below average...
Positives:
The best part was the location. We were close to everything we needed from restaurants to stores to FSU, which was why we were there. It was perfect. The hotel was clean, smelled nice, and was comfortable for the money.
Negatives:
The air conditioning didn’t seem to keep the room cool, no matter how much we adjusted it. Considering the humidity, a poorly running air conditioner wasn’t a plus. Also the hot water took forever to get hot, and on our last day, didn’t get hot at all, only lukewarm. It was like the hot water to our room was cut off. We made due, but we expected hot water for showers.

The mattresses were not comfortable. The bed pillows were not standard size. The rooms need to be updated. The room was very dark. I paid less at one of your competitors and it was a nicer hotel.
We did not eat breakfast because we checked your reviews and most were not good.
The room was noisy at night due to the proximity of the road.
I could not accrue Choice points because I used booking.com.

The staff was excellent. Randy always provided courteous service. Neal assisted us with direction and baggage.
Negatives:
Carpeting in one of the rooms reeked of smoke and other odors. Once reported, we were IMMEDIATELY given another room with the same amenities.
