Had to stand there 15 minutes for checkin, the room had a smell to ot, was told I could borrow dishes and coffee maker when I got there but they didn't have any to use, couldn't use the pool, couldn't get another pillow or shampoo or conditioner and had to wait for checkout. Wasn't told about the $100 deposit or that it would take a week to get it back.

This was a horrible experience for my family and myself. We booked the rooms weeks ago only to have them call me while at the airport boarding the flight to tell me they had to cancel my room because of some kind of big infestation. Only to call me back 20 minutes later to tell me they had a cancellation and could accommodate our family.
Once we arrived the room was just getting cleaned. Even the floor was freshly mopped and sticky. There were no items in the rooms to use( cups, dinnerware etc....) The room was dirty and not properly cleaned. Dirt, dust and trash over the bed and behind the dresser.
We sprayed out beds with disinfectant and mate the best of it.
The next morning while getting ready for checkout, my son found a cockroach crawling on the wall. (Pictures attached) I alerted the housekeeper but she didn't do anything. I told the manager Carmen of this disgusting thing. She said to me she would comp the entire night's stay but I had to call booking to let them know if the situation. We will never stay at this hotel again
