It was awesome and they allowed me to check in at 11:30 so I was so happy. There is free trolley ride at the corner that takes you downtown to the river walk so that was great.

Fantastic stay in Ybor!
Positives:
The staff was so attentive and caring. The room we were first assigned to had a faulty air conditioning unit, and they immediately moved us into another room. Miguel is an exceptional employee. You should be proud to have him!

The hotel is very clean from the lobby to the room. The room looked very updated, clean, and quiet. Didn't hear any street noise or people in the other rooms. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of towels. It's located one block from the beginning of Ybor City's entertainment/nightlife area (7th Ave). The free breakfast options was amazing. There were 5 food stations: Omelet, Cereal, Bread, Waffle, and Drink
Negatives:
Even though there's a parking structure attached to the hotel, I was charged $22 self parking for the one night I stayed. I don''t know if the $22 charge would be for a guest's entire length of the stay, or per night, as I only stayed one night.

Positives:
I liked the location and proximity to Historic Ybor and the nightlife. It is very close to downtown Tampa and Port. Even though there is a lot of construction, getting around wasn't a problem.
Negatives:
I did not like their policy of preauthorization day of arrival without prior notice. The policy is not listed and causes an issue for customers using third-party platforms such as Booking.com. There's no customer courtesy regarding hotel errors. Everything is "beyond their control". As a customer this is unacceptable. I do appreciate the front desk staff who tried to assist within their power.

Great stay in Ybor city would definitely recommend.
Positives:
The location to the trolley was great! Breakfast was good as always. Maybe I missed it but I never saw on information that room cleaning daily was not done..had to request it..although they do bring clean towels and empty trash a few times during our 5 day stay. Also, loved having the pool!

Ybor is not necessary safe to be out late at night.
