Beautiful Historic Hotel in the heart of the city. Quick walk to many cafes and places nearby. Large bedroom. Being renovated. Lobby details with the high ceilings and all the carpentry work. Elegant ambiance, courteous staff.
Negatives:
It is under remodeling and on Friday morning there were people working on the outside of the bedroom window.
The elevator in lobby had only 1 working on several occasions.

Bathtub was dirty. All 3 windows were filthy. I understand that they are into the 3rd year of renovations, however the windows were so dirty we could barely see outside. The price that was quoted was incorrect close to $300.00, upon checking in a bit over $400.00 A $50.00 deposit fee was quoted at the of the booking, but the desk clerk said it has Always been $100.00 . The Amelie Arena was close to 3miles walking distance when they stated about 1 mile. I'm a heart transplant patient and the walk to and from the hotel and Arena really wore me out. The only upside of the stay was at the Arena for a Heart Concert. We will never stay at Downtown Tapestry by Hilton. We will stay at the Marriott in the future. We didn't take any photos of the room because we were too busy trying to get out of the hotel, have dinner, and get to the Amelie Arena on time.

The property was elegant and beautiful as were the rooms. Very clean and had a nice design.

There was a surprise $30 travel fee and valet parking only which was $40/night.

Construction work ongoing so was noisy from early in the morning. The promised ear plugs were nowhere to be found. TV didn't work and the shower (although it looked nice) was very poor with very little pressure.
