When we checked in it was an automated computer. They try running my debit card for the $55 deposit and they said it was decline, so we use my husband's card saying and they said it was going to be $55 and once we we got to the room not even 5 minutes later I checked my husband's account and they had taken out the whole amount of on his card after I had already paid for this I'm booking.com. so because of them taking out the full amount it caused my husband account to be overdrawn. Needless to say I was not a happy camper and I will never ever ever say this hotel again

We like the location because it's close to Moffitt cancer center.
Negatives:
We had to have our room changed after we checked in because it smelt so bad from Marijuana. We got our 2nd room and there was no hot water. I asked the front desk if there was a problem with the hot water and he told me I had to run the water for a half hour to get hot water. Needless to say we won't be back again.

I didn’t like the attitude and lack of customer service from the staff. The rooms were filthy and very unclean. The linen was dirty, the microwave and the bathroom. It was very upsetting.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The air conditioner unit didn't keep the room cool in the middle of a hurricane. Bed linen and bath towels were old & stained. Check out was at 11am. Housekeeping was waiting outside our door at 10:30am.

No shuttle, there’s even a sign saying shuttle pickup. Lack of towels. I use booking.com and put in every person with age for the 3 kids so 5 in total and the lady at the front desk said, I can’t give you more towels bc you’re only down for two people.

It was very close to the park we went to and places to eat. The restaurant on site wasn't open though.
Negatives:
There was a roach in the tub, the floor was very dirty-but didn't notice until I spilled water and I cleaned it up, there was no hot water just like warm, the pool had a lot of debris in it, there were a lot of questionable people wandering the property and staying there. Looks like it once was a gorgeous hotel.
