Positives: The room was nice. Very clean. Spacious bathroom. The hotel itself was very hot but it's June in Georgia. I have yet to figure out how to circumvent that in my own house. I'd imagine it's even harder at a hotel.
Negatives: We booked our stay without the knowledge of the political events that were happening. It was absolute hell. I have struggled with what actually falls on the hotel and what is a result of the people surrounding the events happening outside. For context, things that aren't the hotel's fault or responsibility but do matter in the grand scheme: I and my 16-year-old daughter bought tickets for a concert months prior. This hotel was rated as one of the preferred hotels for its proximity to the venue. The trip was hours longer than anticipated because of the "event closures". I have Lupus and cardiac issues and the heat index was 105 degrees by 5:00 pm. The inability to reach the hotel was causing serious health issues for me. The neighboring connected hotel was the "homebase" for several presidential support groups. There was nondirect path to our hotel. Road closures by private citizens and then police made getting to the hotel impossible. After walking four blocks, we couldn't get into the hotel. Things that were the hotel's responsibility but NOT The fault of the employees: There was no access to the hotel. Period. We were blocked by political supporters saying we were not allowed to enter the building because we obviously did not belong to their party. The police said we were being problematic because I asked where the approved entrance was. We were routed through the connecting hotel's "loading area" after I started crying and attempting to explain to the event organizers that I needed to get to check in. There were no plans made by the hotel for this issue. We were made to stay in the loading area until all the party support guests were allowed to go into our hotel to use the elevators. After an hour of attempting to get in, I get to check in to find an incredible lady behind the counter who was so kind.

Negatives: 1. The entrance was sort of blocked off and I had to double back just to turn in. 2. The room that I booked was not available due to “overbooking issues”, and the staff lied saying that someone tried to contact me about it (no one ever tried). 3. There was a $100 incidental fee that was NOT mentioned when booking the room. 4. The valet service was not optional, and was the only way to have my car on property (which I had to pay for). The valet desk/podium was often left empty, which lead some guests to look for their keys. To my surprise, the lock box for the keys was completely unlocked and anyone could just come up and grab a set of keys if they wanted to. 5. The hotel staff were “not able to program room keys” therefore I had to have a staff member/security guard take me up the elevators and to my room each time I decided to leave.

Positives: I was rudely mistreated the night shift acted like she was too tired too busy too lazy to help me, but when some other customers came in of the same race, she got a second win and started helping them and she ended up making me pay three deposits as her credit card monitor got unplugged and I was delaying her line to talk to her friends, which were the same race Ethnicity, which made me feel so discriminated because I wasn’t the same race as them I complain to corporate I try to complain to them about being charged three times. They got mad at me and told me what do you think? Think we lied to you I go what you did because you said you were just gonna charge one $200 deposit I asked to speak to corporate. They said that they’re not there. I asked to speak to the manager and they said that they’re not there and there is no corporate so I called , the number to corporate had to look it up and then I got a supervisor there who started acting up and making fun of my name and said that she didn’t understand me as I was spelling phonetically my name and she said she didn’t understand me I told her I’m speaking English and she’s the language barrier and the accent. She didn’t understand English. She told me that she couldn’t help me. She’s gonna warm me ended up hanging up on me after I told her that she needs to treat , me better and treat people that complain better and try to fix the problem and quit lying about how there is no corporate and she has no boss so I am very upset with my stay. She tried to tell me to call Booking.com for retrieving my deposit when they’re the ones that bill me so she’s just trying to get rid of me And they lie because they don’t want to call corporate. I ended up calling corporate. I called back again she hung up on me and got a nice gentleman who dealt with the problem and took the complaint and gave me a complaint number so I can further look into getting my deposits back because they billed me three times On my bank card, I very upset
Negatives: I didn’t like the fact that there was somebody sleeping on the couch with a hoodie on when you walk in and get ready to go to the elevator did not like the fact that the person behind the counter, even though it was late hours did not even say good night hello good morning nothing but when some other people came behind me while The monitor would not accept my credit card three times and then it came unplugged because I cannot see the monitor because it’s laying flat. It was not elevated to accommodate ADA people who cannot see due to the light and glare I tried to move it. The wire became unplugged and she got mad at me and then when some other people of the same race came, she got a second win to start being nice to them, but not me felt she retaliated against me what I’m putting my credit card to pay for which I have a right to know before I transactI’m very upset because when I called back, I was being billed three times she a new person said that there is no supervisor there and said what do you want? I want us to lie to you and tell you you’re gonna get your money back acceptable I told her to corporate she refused to give it to me and said there is no corporate which is a lie and a lie that they said that they were gonna charge me $200 versus $600 which they did and I know I won’t get my money back right away because it’s a $200 deposit, but I don’t appreciate having my bank account being held and they have faulty equipment and cannot see and they do not accommodate the ADA for the counters being too high for me to see that the monitor as I’m putting in my credit card to be charged the two auto deposit so because it did not go through the third time I use a different card and thenshe told me not to touch the monitor because the ATM machine monitor became unplugged faulty equipment not my fault. I’m just trying to see what I paid for and I have a right to do that. I’m very upset with the fact that there is no customer service. They’re not the right color
