Positives: The front desk staff here is AMAZING. Randall, who helped us most of our stay, is an angel. He was so very sweet, quick to help, and truly just a wonderful employee. He goes above and beyond for every guest he assists, and I witnessed that personally. They could not ask for a better front desk worker. We love you, Randall!!!
Negatives: The first room we checked into was dirty - one of the beds was unmade. We were quickly moved to another room, which appeared cleaner than the last. When I tried to close the blinds, a large chunk of plaster fell from the wall and broke all over the windowsill/floor by the window. The rest of the floor was dusty enough that there were small bits of things sticking to my feet when I walked around barefoot. There were a couple of hairs in my bed, and I'm bald, so I know they weren't mine. The bathroom was pretty clean, except for the lotion dispenser that had clearly not been wiped and had leftover residue on it. About half of the lights in our room didn't work at all. The beds were MASSIVELY uncomfortable, and the sheets were a strange material that slept very hot, which was disappointing because we all love a "hotel bed." Our thermostat did not work reliably either, adding to the temperature issue when sleeping. The left elevator makes a truly terrifying sound when going up - a sentiment shared by every guest who had the misfortune of riding the elevator with me. We eventually opted for the stairs, even though we were on the third floor. I told a housekeeping employee to skip our room because we were packing up to check out shortly, so it was very confusing when a different employee (holding a clip board, but no cleaning supplies) let herself into our room, without knocking, about 20 minutes later. Luckily, we were dressed, and she was apologetic, but no one should ever be barging into guest rooms like that. The location and price were not nearly good enough for me to forgive all of these glaring issues; I do not suggest staying here. The only good thing I have to say is that the front desk staff is absolutely wonderful and that the lobby itself is clean and inviting. As long as you never go past the lobby, you'll have a great time.
