Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. The building is tucked away from the main road, so it is a bit quieter than other hotels. I was surprised to see a little cooking area. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very nice. The bathrooms also had babe brand shampoo, conditioner, and soap

Since the hotel is tucked away, it is a bit hard to find the turn. I wish there was a sign or something to show which turn to take. Also, the bathroom was not the cleanest when we got there. I saw hair and other things on the floor, and the toilet lid didn't fit properly.

The staff was kind. The complimentary laundry was also a plus (although one of the dryers was out of order for several weeks).
Negatives:
A lot of the appliances were not fully or partially serviceable. We had to move to a different room twice from our original room because of HVAC that would not work properly. The last room we were moved to (because it was the only one they had!) had a micowave and dishwasher OUT OF ORDER! This room should never have been sold with two of the kitchen appliances out of order. They had put a huge table top microwave on the "kitchen" counter which took up all the space and was partially sitting on the cooktop which also made it unusable. In short, they do not fix built in appliances quickly but expect to be paid full price for the room. The last room we were in was not the type of room we originally reserved (which was a larger king room) yet we were charged for that type of room for our entire stay.
