Positives:
If you are looking for a room just to get off of I-75 outside of Atlanta, this LaQuinta is a fair choice. Low priced rooms and reasonably quiet and convenient.
Negatives:
Although the exterior of the building had been painted and refurbed, the doors, hallways, and elevator are very much in need of replacement. The building does not impress you as you enter your room. The room itself is OK, offering many of the comforts LaQuinta is known for, although the fixtures are dated. Reasonably clean for a room at this price level.

Freezer in room was packed with ice, couldn’t use.
My room smelled like a gym. The ac vent in bathroom was stuffed with tissues, I tried to reach the front desk about it but no one answered the phone. Carpets in hotel were stained and dirty. And the smell of marijuana was everywhere.

It was a trap hotel. You could only enter and exit through lobby doors. Room was dirty and had roaches. Fridge didn't work. Hallways smelled like weed.

Nice premises and a very nice and clean hotel. The hotel staff was friendly, The breakfast smelled great. I didnt have time to sample it but that's my fault. Overall I enjoyed myself and it was great for the proce.
Negatives:
The ice machines were not working so we were forced to go downstairs to get ice. Additionally you all may want to consider getting the small plastic disposable bags that some hotels have that they put inside of the ice bucket. As it stands you are forced to either clean the bucket out or run the risk that the previous resident didn't use the bucket as a spitoon or chamberpot.
