The first room my family went in, as soon as we turned on the lights, there were roaches. I immediately told them not to touch anything. Breakfast was free but after seeing that, I didn’t want to eat or drink anything. I guess you get what you pay for.

the keycard only worked for a single day but I was not told to get it renewed. each night I had to come back to the lobby to get the card renewed, I have an 18 Month old and this was very irritating especially when he was tired and cranky..

The breakfast was bland, sausage was well over cooked! The hotel overall was good.
Negatives:
I had to keep coming down to the front desk to get my key card fix. Each time I left my room I couldn't get back in. There were people fighting and arguing and at one point someone was pushed into my door! This went on for a couple of hours and my phone didn't work in my room and didn't want to go out of my room to the desk to let them know.Also my TV didn't work for a day in a half. I had to flag down the maintenance guy in the hallway to get it fix.

LaQuinta Hotel located at 3944 River Place Drive, Macon, GA 31210 was miserable. Room was dirty and we couldn't wait to get up the next morning and continue our trip. Will never stay there again. I think corporate office should provide extra help during this construction period so that residents don't leave with a disappointed feeling. If I hadn't booked LaQuinta for our entire trip, I would have looked for other hotels.

It was nasty. Tried to separate rooms. Both had bugs. 1 missing TV in sitting room and space designated for TV was disgusting. Had a car refresher hanging in the room. Air filter missing and cover was falling down covered on dust.
Hotel appeared to be full of transient clients. Carpet on the hallways were full of stains. Several clients living in the hotel. Very disappointed in the accommodations. Did not even stay had to leave and travel back home. Full intentions to stay not a cancellation and the hotel not booking would reimburse my full refund. They should absolutely refund the entire amount since this was absolutely their fault for the terrible conditions.
