I made this reservation back in February from a king room..the reservation said that if I didn't cancel by the 7th of September I would be billed for the first night. I was ok with this as we were planning on going to the races that weekend..The hotel guy [ Jamiel] said he called at 2:30 to confirm if I was coming and only gave me 30 minutes to let him know. Not sure why he would think I wasn't coming since check wasn't until 3pm..we arrived at 3:12pm to find out our room was given to someone else. He found us another room with a smaller bed. This did not work for us so we checked out the next morning. All our plans ruined. We were told by one of the other employees to never book a reservation with Extended stay because your reservation means nothing and they will just put you wherever they have a spare room. After he gave a smaller room I had to ask him about the different charge for a smaller room..That should have been automated. As much as I stayed in hotels this was a first. They gave the impression that this type of hotel is for locals that needs a place to stay and not travelers and their needs come first. No apology just keep say I should have called back before 3pm

I booked a 2 queen bed room. When I got to the room there was 1 queen bed and a tiny chair. I called the front desk and was told they were sold out of double rooms. They did not tell me this at the desk when I checked in. I had 3 people and 1 bed and a bad chair. They told me too bad. Everything for a 30 mile radius was sold out due to race weekend. The TV had no signal and had to get someone to come fix that. When asked about a blanket and pillow for the chair I was told they would send it up. 6 hours later I got it. They gave me a $25 refund. Not happy at all.

4th floor smelled like urine, tried to enjoy a shower and the water flooded the floor into the entrance of the room. The water slipped under the closed bathroom door. Poor design flaw. Prostitution and plenty of creeps hanging in halls. My husband and I caught one guy listening to people’s rooms.
