Advertised a pool & hot tub … but were closed. We were not made aware of the closure until after we had booked the room. Husband & I had been driving for several hours and needed the hot tub to ease the husband’s back pain.

No air was turned on before we got there it was 94 degrees so it took awhile to start cooling. The outlets were loose in the walls. Wires for the vanity light exposed. Have to hold the toilet handle down to flush. Went to the pool and the jacuzzi was not heated. A staff member, not the manager, came in the pool area to tell me the kids were not allowed to jump into the pool. I pointed out there is no sign stating this nor did any paper work. If the manager would like to come discuss it with me they can or come tell me to go to another hotel. She left and shortly returned without a manager. She again said they couldn’t jump in and the assistant manager agrees. I pointed to the rules sign and it doesn’t state it but only that you cannot dive where people are swimming. And that the markings on the floor show no head first diving not stating no jumping. I stated my kids are not running and jumping but feet first at the edge jump in. I once again said my kids will continue being watched by me and jumping in and I will not discuss it with her anymore and I will with the manager if there is still a problem and I will contact corporate if I am singled out again in the pool area. No one else came nor did anyone come in and speak to the three, well behaved, but obviously under 18 kids there swimming with no adult present.
