Outside of hotel was run down. Pool not usable and had a mattress in it. Breakfast was horrible. No coffee, stale cereal, slimy rotten eggs, spoiled yogurt. Picked the hotel out of all the others because of location, reputation of the brand and the fact it had breakfast included. Was the worst hotel of this brand we have ever stayed at. Very obvious from Condition of everything that staff has no pride in their jobs or the company.

The general condition of both the hotel and the room was very bad.
The bedspread had stains. The carpet on the bed was very dirty, I could see this after walking barefoot on it.
Some of the towels in the bathroom had other people's hair on them.
The ice machine room was dirty and had trash not collected from the bin.
The cistern was leaking water and I had to turn off the tap so it wouldn't make any noise.
The breakfast was poor and of poor quality. No variety.
I have been to other La Quinta hotels, and they were infinitely better and better maintained than this one.

Dirty room, room smells very bad, there is no hair dryer, disgusting carpet in the room and in the halls, the TV remote control doesn't work, and the elevator inspection expiration date is 12/2023. I will never recommend this hotel or coming back to.

Various options for breakfast. Room temperature was very cool and comfy.
Negatives:
Every time I walked into the hotel, there was this foul odor similar to urine. Every morning I took my breakfast back to the room because the smell was terrible. It would be pleasing to have scented plugins or mop the front entrance since there were guests with pets.
I had to have my key card scanned at least 3 times in the 4 days I stayed there. Very rating when you have to wait in line just to get in your room because keycard doesn’t work.
There were two dirty towels left over from previous guest. No Kleenex just an empty box.

My reservation got canceled because someone else walked up and when I got in they had cancel my room then they gave me a room that the door didn’t work and a manager needed to come let me in my room if I went out
