Only spent one night here on the way to Florida. Conveniently located immediately off 1-75. The property is not as well-lit as I would like and it shares part of the drive/parking area with a Mexican restaurant. The exterior is not particularly inviting, as the their are large spots of peeling paint in various locations.
Inside, the room and bathroom were extremely clean, even corners. The carpet was a dark patterned low pile commercial grade carpet, so it was difficult to ascertain its cleanliness, but there were no obvious spills or tears. The walls were a semi-gloss, flattened lace stucco that were clean and showed no markings. The wall colors were bold earthen tones. The furniture was a low-grade Formica-covered style, but I noticed no broken pieces or non-working drawers.
The bed was one of the most comfortable that I have slept on in recent stays and I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was marginal high-carb affair and we ate at the Waffle House a couple of doors down. This is a great value and I would definitely stay there again. The AAA rate was $62, but there is another $12 added on for taxes, but still a good value.
