The location is the best when staying in Waikiki. All in all it is a good hotel, has a variety of shops/restaurants around. Offer beach rentals.

Good sized room with comfortable bed. Lots of electrical outlets. Great thermostat. Lots of drawer space. Very spacious lobby. ABC store at ground level was very convenient. Laundry machines were easy to use and $3 per load. In room coffee machine filled up pretty fast with used cups. Had to empty every day.
Negatives:
Shower and toilet room were very small but adequate.

Excellent location. The view from the room was great! Great facilities, rooftop pool was great. Gym was also excellent.

Our coffee machine wasn’t working. Not much info provided by concierge upon check in. No mini bar. V expensive bar at the pool however relative to the rest of Hawaii.

The location is perfect, right across the road from the beach.
Pool area is beautiful but very small for the size of the hotel.
Decor is nice and fresh and bright.
Loved having an ABC at the front of the hotel.
Negatives:
For the price you pay there are plenty of better places to stay at for the same price or even cheaper.
You can tell that it's a very old hotel that's just had a makeover.
We stayed on level 2 and could hear street noise all day/night
The smallest bathroom I have ever seen, the bathroom door only just misses the toilet when opening/closing.

This is not a hotel...
Positives:
The closeness to the beach, shops, restaurants & bus service.
Very clean, spacious room.
Staff friendly & accommodating.
Negatives:
We only had a minor issue with coffee & tea provided in our room, there was no Black Tea Pods we had to ask several times to get it right. Coming from Australia we are Tea drinkers not coffee drinkers.
Finally reception ladies sorted this out after a couple of days.

I don't think this place could be in a better location; it's perfect.
You are less than a minute walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants/cafes/bars/shops etc.
Views from the room were nice, we had a partial ocean view of which the partial ocean was stunning, the partial Foster Tower not so great :) But all in all, grand.
Wi-fi was fast, down for a day but I guess that's out of the properties hands.
The pool deck was beautiful, staff were very friendly, room was cleaned every other day.
Negatives:
Room noise is something to consider, for a few nights we had incredibly noisy neighbours and the noise does travel.
The balcony doors while lovely don't really do much at all to keep the outside noise out.
The pool deck can get incredibly busy so either get there early or be patient to find a bed.
