Positives:
Staff was friendly and personable. Location was convenient to Waikiki
Negatives:
It could use a refresh/update. The bathrooms and furnishings showed some wear and were not perfectly clean. The front desk also asked me to write my credit card details down on a piece of paper so they could charge the card later in the week. I refused to write the info down because it was not safe. My card number could easily have been stolen. I agreed to come down later in the week so they could run my card.

Good location if you dont want to stay in the center of the bustle of Waikiki. Good
Positives:
We loved the feeling of being welcomed as if we were home. The people who work there treated us like we were their family. The small boutique hotel has cute quirks, yet the ambience was culturally educational, the artwork in the lobby exquisite.
Positives:
Liked the beach towel and beach chair service, daily paper, illy coffee in the room and regular drip in the lobby, M-F happy hour
Negatives:
staffing is light (sometimes hard to get front desk support), air conditioning stopped working for a day, room cleaning was inconsistent (not showing up some days when we needed more shower gel and trash taken out)

Near the sea just off the main Honolulu strip, next to Diamond Head. Had own parking (at a premium though)

May be a bit too far out for some . One elevator !
