A very nice Christmas holiday
Positives:
The view, complimentary reusable water bottles, water refill stations, complimentary lei making session, complimentary yoga, complimentary yoga-to-go kits with foam roller & resistance bands for the stay, towels and beach chairs provided were back-pack style for easy carry and included an insulated back pocket for cold drinks/snacks, the staff were lovely and it was easy to get cocktails to go complete with an orchid, the beds and pillows were clean and comfortable, hot water/great shower pressure, good security. Lastly, we were able to store our bags and use the amenities after checking out for our last day until leaving for the airport in the evening. Highly recommend!

I’m basing my review on the original room booked through Booking.com. The advertised room is shown as “Studio with ocean view.” It was horrible (room 1416). No enough space for a couple; incredibly loud wall air conditioner; no shower soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers; no coffeemaker or coffee cups; NO balcony; inoperable USB chargers by the bed; worn out furniture. For the money I was paying, I felt cheated.
After two nights of no sleep due to loud a/c noise, I had to endure a lengthy conversation with the day manager, who, after hesitation, finally decided to move us to an “upgraded room”. Room 1009 was way better and what I would’ve expected from the beginning. However, room 1009 was in a far corner therefore the WiFi would not reach. Also, the TV Chromecast service would not connect hence it was impossible to connect to personal Netflix account.
