We were able to check in early which we were so grateful for as the temperature was 101°. The room is very clean and comfortable well they lovely large bathroom. The hotel is centrally located so easy to find everything in Boise for sightseeing.
Negatives:
There was Zero view from the balcony. I thought I would be looking at the city, but unfortunately not.

The bed was comfortable and that would be a plus. The shower was good also. The staff was very friendly, and did apologize every time there was a problem (See below)

We checked in after midnight (We had let the Hotel know ahead of time that our flights were running quite late) and there were no rooms left in the category that we had paid for. We were put up in a room that must have been a room that isn't used anymore because there wasn't chair by the desk and the air conditioning worked but sounded like a jet plane taking off. The room we were given the next day, did not have great air conditioning. We slept with the windows open to cool it down at night. We had to replace our key cards multiple times and we think it was because the readers on the door were too old and would not read the key cards. We did not receive any kind of a discount for the room being overbooked on our first night. No hot coffee. even though the pot was full on our first morning there. Breakfasts left a lot to be desired. Had good orange juice and muffins, but you can't mess that up. When I called to let the front desk know that we were going to be late, it took 45 minutes before anyone was reached at the front office. This was 5 PM in the evening.

The bathroom ceiling had a hole in it that was obviously covered by duct tape. The ceiling also had water spots. The TV kept trying to log us out? The deck was filthy. the furniture was old and worn.

It was very old and dirty and there were no towels in the bathroom so when I got out of the shower I had to use a small hand towel to dry off

hotel is very tired in furnishings and cleanliness. from the front door to the lobby to dim lighting.. i didn't feel good about staying there. there were some sketchy people hanging around and couldn't tell if they were patrons or homeless.

The breakfast was awful. Potatoes were hard. Bacon was burnt. Toaster didn’t work. Coffee was not good. I’ll never get the breakfast again.
