Negatives: The dates rooms. The rug felt extremely dirty!

Negatives: Terribly musky smelling lobby and worse in the room. On the ground floor and the window had NO lock (not broken - it just had NO lock). There was only a piece of wood to jam the window.

Negatives: The night staff was rude. It wasn’t clean. Breakfast wasn’t good. Wasn’t allowed a later checkout than half hr after normal check out time. I wanted later check out since I was getting married and needed more time but wasn’t allowed.

Negatives: Out dates

Negatives: New carpet over creaky floorboards. Breakfast was very simple, but had a couple items to grab and go for the park!

Negatives: The bathroom fan/ventilation did not work so you got to smell the aroma of feces from the person before you. And the steam and fogged mirror make it difficult to get dressed and ready after a shower. The room was not cleaned. There were candy wrappers behind the chair that sat in the corner and under both beds. There were little toy pencil erasers under one of the beds. The continental breakfast was definitely a disappointment. You had to microwave the frozen eggs and frozen sausage patties. There were no heating instructions provided so your chances of getting sick with some kind of foodborne pathogens are highly likely. You had your choice of raisin bran or Froot Loops for cold cereal, With a shared unlabeled milk pitcher in the fridge. plain flavored oatmeal but no brown sugar provided. They also had a pancake machine, but no butter for your pancakes. The door for side entrance that we were told to use does not properly close and lock unless you pull it shut to behind you. So the chances of any stranger off the street walking into the hotel are very likely. The cigarette butts littering the ground at that entrance is discouraging. They should probably insert an ashtray of some kind so it doesn’t look like so trashy. When I informed the front desk about the garbage and the fan, I was told that they were training new housekeepers and that’s probably why the garbage wasn’t picked up . But that is not an excuse! The current housekeeper they have cleaning these rooms and training. The new housekeepers clearly isn’t doing their job properly . If the garbage that is under and behind the chair in the corner that you can clearly see from sitting on the bed hasn’t been picked up I question what is actually clean in that room. We have been staying at this hotel two times a year for the last three years and we have seen it go downhill. We will be looking for a new location for our summertime getaway trips.

Negatives: Nothing to honestly say here : ) other than there was no pool haha but that’s my fault for not looking! Ohhh hubby and I didn’t care much for our bed but our bed at home is way different so that’s why.
